Dear Dr. Hall:
We wish to acknowledge receipt of your check for $500.00 representing the License Issue Fee, enclosed with your letter of 10-May-77 addressed to our Mr. H. Gordon Howe.
We have advised our Accounting Department to hold your check until the license which has received our No. 1505 will be signed. Presently this License Agreement is being drafted and we intend to transmit to you the draft very shortly.
This License Agreement will follow closely the license granted to McCartney Manufacturing Co., Inc. and will also be non-exclusive. The License Issue Fee will be reduced to $500.00, and the annual minimum royalty also decreased to $500.00.
We appreciate your communicating to us some background of your new enterprise. It seems that you have been successful in procuring the skills of a physicist, a chemist, a mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer and even a lawyer, all from within your family, in the form of sons and sons-in-law.
